We are excited to help you produce a successful Casino Night.
Our Casino Equipment is rented for amusement purposes only, and users must comply with all local, state and federal gaming regulations.
No actual money, legal tender, items of value or promises of such may be exchanged in proper use of casino equipment rentals.
If your event is a fundraiser, you should already be aware of the many Ohio rules and regulations that permit your registered charitable organization to host games of chance. See Ohio Revised Code Section 2915.02. The Ohio Attorney General’s office has posted guidelines and rules for you.
Under Ohio law, Awesome Entertainment staff cannot operate the actual games of chance for a fundraiser, nor can we supervise or assist. The law only allows the volunteers of a qualified charity to operate the games.
Also, no one — staff or volunteers — can be paid or tipped for helping run the games at your charity event. ALL of the money generated by the games must go to the operating charity, minus the cost of player prizes.
When funds raised by games of chance cannot be used to pay Awesome Entertainment for rental of equipment, supplies or other related costs, we ask that you pay for our services in advance of your event. If you are inclined to tip our crew for set up and removal of our equipment, please consider tipping them in advance of equipment delivery, as well.
Our AWESOME staff stands ready to assist you, within the limits of the law. This means that our crew and performers will also be observing rules for face masks, safe distancing and other health and safety protocols required by the state of Ohio — just as they would observe traffic or liquor laws at your event. Face masks are part of their uniform; if you have questions or concerns about this, please contact your Awesome Entertainment Event Planner.
