NOTE: Entry point for set up must be wider than 62".
Before reserving, please make sure the Dunk Tank will fit through any doors or entryways. If not, check out our other Dunk Tank options, such as our Folding Dunk Tank.
SET UP:
- Water and water hose are NOT included in the rental.
- Client must supply a working water source.
- Client must supply a water hose.
- Dunk Tank may take 2 hours to fill by garden hose and 10-15 minutes by firehose.
- Dunk Tank must be drained before it can be moved from the site.
- The set up area should be mostly flat and at least 10 feet away from pools and bodies of water.
- Cannot be set up under utility lines or low-hanging tree branches; best if not set up under trees.
- If set up inside, it is your responsibilty to drain the water. You will need a pumping system. Unless, if the water can drain onto the floor area. We do not recommend setting up inside.
TRANSPORT:
Dunk Tank must be driven to set up site.
Item cannot be lifted over fences.
Item cannot be carried up steps.
Item cannot be dragged down or up hills -- can only be driven up or down hills.
Unlock all access gates, doors or entryways prior to our delivery.
GENERAL SET UP AND USE:
Grass should be mowed at least 2 days prior, not day of or night before delivery or set up.
Shut off all sprinkler systems while you have your rental(s).
Mark all underground utilities, including sprinkler systems; call 811 for help locating underground utilities.
Clean up any dog or animal droppings prior to our arrival.
We may refuse to set up or drop off if there is a mess.
No food, drink or gum permitted in or around the unit.
No Silly String, sand or confetti in or around the unit.
Adult supervision required at all times.
Do not overload the unit; follow all directions and warning signs.
Avoid cleaning fees by wiping down the unit prior to our retrieval.
Unit must be shut down and covered up during heavy rains and winds that exceed 15 miles per hour.
Indoor Dunk Tank Usuage Info:
Want to bring the thrill of a dunk tank indoors? While we don’t generally recommend using our dunk tanks indoors with water, it can be done with careful planning. Here are some tips for a successful setup—and consider filling our dunk tanks with ball pit balls instead!
Space & Entry Requirements:
We strongly recommend planning for more space than expected to accommodate spectators as well as setup needs. When fully set up, our dunk tank measures 96 inches in height, 124 inches in width, and 77 inches in depth. It’s mounted on a trailer base measuring 62 inches from wheel to wheel, so doorways should be at least 64 inches wide. Additionally, participants need to stand 10-15+ feet from the dunk tank for safe play.
Ideal Setup Surface:
For water-based setups, a concrete warehouse floor with a nearby drain is ideal, as it provides stability and allows for easier drainage.
Floor Protection & Splash Precautions:
Expect splashes! Renters should place non-slip mats or tarps around the tank area to protect floors and nearby items. And don’t forget towels for the dunkee!
Water Supply & Drainage:
Once filled, a dunk tank weighs around 5,000 lbs and cannot be moved, so it must be drained in place. Clients will need to use the “hose method” to direct water outside or to a drain if indoor drainage isn’t available. We do not assist with drainage.
Ball Pit Balls Option:
For a fun and mess-free alternative, you can rent ball pit balls from us! We use a special dunk tank designed for this setup, providing all the excitement without the water.
Responsibility for Damages:
Awesome Family Entertainment (AFE) is not responsible for any damages caused by the setup or use of the dunk tank, whether with water or ball pit balls.
Additional Considerations:
There may be other factors to consider when using a dunk tank indoors, so we encourage clients to do their own research to ensure a successful setup.
